Why Bitcoin decides
Bitcoin is roughly half of the entire crypto market's value, and most altcoins are traded against it or alongside it. When Bitcoin drops sharply, liquidity leaves the whole market, and even altcoins with perfect chart setups get dragged down.
That's why a clean breakout on an altcoin while Bitcoin is sliding often fails, and the same breakout while Bitcoin is healthy often works. The chart pattern isn't what changed — the tide did.
The Bitcoin filter on every spot signal
Before any spot signal is sent, Signava checks whether Bitcoin's last daily close is above its 50-day average. If it isn't, spot buy signals simply aren't sent, however good the altcoin's setup looks.
The coin also has to pass its own two checks: its four-hour price must be above its own long-term average (the coin is in its own uptrend), and its trading volume over the last day must be above its normal level (real money is behind the move). The checks use only data that existed at the moment of the signal — never a candle that hadn't closed yet.
In a weak market, the engine goes quiet. That can feel frustrating, but a signal that isn't sent can't hit a stop loss.
Which coins are scanned
Signava scans roughly 280 of the most traded USDT pairs on Binance, ranked by trading volume and refreshed regularly. Excluded on purpose:
- Stablecoins (USDC, FDUSD and similar) — they're designed not to move.
- Leveraged tokens (UP/DOWN, BULL/BEAR) — they decay over time and behave differently from the coin.
- Tokenised stocks — they follow stock-market hours and news, not crypto.
Reading Bitcoin yourself
The app's Home tab shows Bitcoin and Ethereum live, and the Insights tab shows the Fear & Greed index, funding rates and long/short ratios. A quick routine before any trade: is Bitcoin trending up or down today, is the market fearful or greedy, and is the coin you're looking at moving with the market or against it?
Frequently asked questions
Does Signava send Bitcoin signals?
Bitcoin is among the coins scanned, but most signals are on altcoins because there are many more of them and they move more. Every spot signal, whatever the coin, has to pass the Bitcoin filter.
Which coins does Signava cover?
Around 280 of the most traded USDT pairs on Binance, re-ranked by volume. Stablecoins, leveraged tokens and tokenised stocks are excluded.
